Payroll Without the Stress

A client with a growing team was constantly running into payroll problems. Leave was not being tracked correctly, PAYE was filed late, and staff were frustrated by errors in their pay. The process was time-consuming, stressful, and risky. The business relied on a single administrator, so when they were sick or on leave, payroll became chaotic — and if they left the company, there was no back-up at all.

Beyond Accounts took over the payroll function completely and fixed the pain points step by step. We rebuilt leave balances and corrected staff records to ensure holidays, KiwiSaver, and deductions were tracked properly. We took responsibility for filing PAYE on time, every time, removing the risk of late payment penalties from IRD. The payroll process was streamlined, aligning pay runs with timesheets and eliminating duplicate data entry.

To remove single-person dependency, multiple members of our team now manage the client’s payroll, providing seamless backup and cover during absences. We also provide regular payroll reporting to management, giving them clear visibility of wage costs and accruals with no surprises.
